There is project brewing in my mind in regards to this blog.

It may take a few more cup of coffee to figure out.

But it has been part of my revelations for a while, so I should go with the flow.

About art, well I have to say that I really haven’t put my degree to use very much lately , since I am mostly focusing on the money making part of my life.

It is something that fufills only one aspect of my life, but soon, when I get my own space, it will fall better into perspective.

SO EXPECT GREAT THINGS……!!!!

	TONIGHT at Artpace!!!! Artists’ Dialogue and Opening Reception Thursday, November 8 6 – 830pm Using a signature aesthetic, Alex Rubio depicts his Chicano neighborhood and roots through large-scale oil and acrylic paintings and prints. People, cars, and corners are built-up with hotly hued lines wrapped in layers that generate the energy, soul, and history of the subjects. Informed by experiences working mobilizing youth through mural projects, Rubio’s images project an intimate, deeply informed, and panoramic sense of fragile yet mighty communities. ARTPACE: 445 N. Main Ave., (210) 212-4900 Focus on contemporary art, especially Texas artists and group exhibitions by guest curators. Hours: Noon-5 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays-Sundays, noon-8 p.m. Thursdays and by appointment. Free admission. On view until January 6th, 2008.
