So, walking around downtown Guadalajara I found out that Jan Hendrix was exhibiting at the Instituto Cultural Cabanas and decided to tale a look. They even allow photos w/o flash:
This is actually inside the Cabanas, par of the mural work by Jose Clemente Orozco.
I particularity enjoy the three-dimensionality of the Eclipse pieces, which are the square format environments. I enjoy how the shadows on the wall have different densities and make the piece volumetric.
He has also very cool prints , mostly silk screen prints and books that have given me many ideas.
