There has always been a drive in me to help people
I guess I could tell you some of the first real efforts to help communities started in high school as I got myself involved in 2-week community volunteer programs. One of them was to live in a rural community and work in the fields, another in a metal factory and the third, I was part of the teaching staff for Adult Education.
It was a lot of fun.
In college I was involved as the Vice-president for Student UNICEF, the Vice-president of the Fine Arts Association and the President of the International Student Association. As part of these groups I learned plenty about community programs, and simply helping other get involved in their communities. There is a great deal of gratefulness for those who collaborated with me and who thought me all the skills I need to being involved in philanthropic practices.
Now, there is an amazing opportunity being introduced in my life. It is very interesting to see how the Universe can bring you the most rewarding environment to work on. Contributing, collaborating with peers and promoting a great cause as part of a job? Wow! This is the perfect job for me.
And this is the beginning of a new outlook in my life. Now I can put my skills to use in an actual job. It is truly fantastic.
